Police are specifically warning that burglars are operating in the Limavady and Garvagh areas.
In the latest incident a house in Garvagh's Lyttlesdale was targeted on Wednesday morning while the owner was out.
Anyone who spotted suspcious activity in the area between 9 a. m. and 9.30 a.m. on the day is asked to call the detectives in Coleraine on 101.
Police say extra patrols are in place, but add it's vital that the public make home security their daily routine.
