There have been no new Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours.

However, 511 new positive cases of the virus have been recorded in the same period.

Meanwhile, Dr Eddie O'Neill, from the Department of Health, says staff had been working around the clock at the department on a Covid-19 vaccine app for Northern Ireland.

Currently  3,175 paper certificates have been issued, to allow people to travel before July 19.

The scheme allows people to show they have had two doses of a Covid vaccine.

The paper certificates were introduced to allow people from Northern Ireland to visit countries which require proof of two Covd-19 jabs.

Dr O'Neil told BBC Radio Ulster that the app was due to be launched in August, but the department is pushing ahead with plans to make everything fully-digital next week.
