Mourners gather in Newry for funeral of Seamus Ruddy

People attended St. Catherine's Dominican chapel in Newry this afternoon for the funeral service of "disappeared" victim Seamus Ruddy.

He was killed and secretly buried by Republican paramilitary group the INLA in 1985.

His remains were found in northern France last month.

His sister Anne Morgan today spoke of her appreciation for the support people have given the family.

 

Relatives prayed for help to find other disappeared victims.
