The man targeted in a weekend arson attack in Banbridge has told Q Radio it could have resulted in mass murder.

Clinton Deveney says a doormat was set alight outside his house on Burnview Terrace at 4am yesterday morning.

He says smoke alarms saved the lives of those inside and he wants the intimidation to stop, telling us, "anyone else who wants to bring problems round my door, family - everyone included, I'll tell them all to stay away."

Adding, "I'm trying to get custody of my son, I've a long history and I'm trying to get myself back on the straight and narrow".
