A man in his fifties has been held at knife point during a suspected hijacking in Newtownards.
He was approached by a man while parking his car in the Trasnagh Drive area around half 4 yesterday afternoon.
The victim handed over his car keys to the attacker, and his vehicle was driven towards the Scrabo Road area.
The car was later found in Downpatrick a short time later.
A 24 year-old man has been detained on suspicion of a number of motoring offences, aswell as being in possession of a blade.
He remains in police custody.
