Jean Claude Juncker says despite best efforts there will be no deal on the Irish Border today.

The European Commission President has been speaking in Brussells in the last few moments - side by side with Theresa May.

We're told the talks will continue later this week.

Earlier...a leaked document from the EU suggested Northern Ireland will keep Single Market and Customs Unions rules after Brexit.

But the idea's already run into trouble.

According to social media the Prime Minister phoned the DUP leader shortly after her media appearance at Stormont.

The PM reportedly told Theresa May the leaked text would not be acceptable under any circumstances.

Another angry DUP supporter tweeted:" We'd prefer the World Trade Organisation instead of this".

From Dublin's view Tonushta, Simon Coveney says they're "very close" to an agreement on the wording around the Irish Border issue.

He's said we should hear more from the Tee-shock soon.

Now there are claims any special situation for Northern Ireland - should be extended to Scotland.
