Contentious North Belfast peace wall removed

People living next to one of the most contentious interfaces here have welcomed the removal of a peace wall in north Belfast.

The barrier separating nationalist and unionist homes on Belfast's Crumlin Road, has been replaced with railings and landscaped greenery. 

The deputy First Minister was at a celebration event organised by the Twadell Ardoyne Shankill Communities in Transition.

Local resident says it's transformed their living conditions already.
