Workers have been left stunned after the clothing retailer Exhibit was placed into administration, with around 150 jobs in Northern Ireland now at risk.
The company has 14 stores across the provence - many of which were closed unexpectedly today.
It's understood staff at the womens clothing chain were informed of the news last night.
Monique Gormley turned up at a store in Ballymena today - where stock was being removed and the shutters were closed.
Another shopper, Clodagh McAuley said she too was shocked to find the shutters down and clothes being removed from the Tower Centre premises.
Neil Workman from Lambert, Smith Hampton the letting agents for the Ballymena store said it was a sad day for staff and customers.
