Bosses across Northern Ireland are being urged to remember work can still be important to staff diagnosed with cancer.

Navy Commander turned Business Mogul, David Shutts addressed employers at a special event in Belfast this week.

David - who now runs a charity called, ASTRiiD (pron: ASTRID) was diagnosed with renal cancer at the age of 50.

It comes as the Equality Commission says it will be issuing best practise advice to firms across the province.
