Concerns are being raised about the Stormont education minister's plans for some pupils to go back to school early.

Peter Weir is targeting the 17th of August for those going into primary seven and about to sit GCSEs and A-Levels.

Mr. Weir made the announcement in an online meeting hosted by the National Association of Head Teachers.

It would be part of a phased return with other pupils back in the classroom in September.
