The mother of a young man killed in a crash on the A1 dual carriageway last year says she's deeply saddened by the latest fatality on the same stretch of road.

A 75-year-old woman died on Sunday afternoon following a single vehicle crash on the A1 southbound between Banbridge and Dromore.

Monica Heaney, who lost her 27-year-old son Karl in May, 2018, is campaigning for improvements to make the road safer.
