Ballymena United will face Glenavon in the Europa League play-off final at the Showgrounds on Friday night.

The Sky Blues had a 5-2 home win in Monday night's semi-final against 10-man Dungannon.

Swifts defender Andrew Burns was sent off for a tackle after only five minutes.

Tony Kane struck twice for Ballymena to bring his total for the season to 21.

And David Jeffrey's men passed the 100 goal mark in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Glenavon hit back from 3-2 down at half-time to beat Cliftonville 5-3 in their semi-final at Solitude.

With Cliftonville due to appoint a new manager this week, it was a final game in charge for interim boss, Tommy Breslin.

Treble-winning Linfield have signed three new players - Robert Garrett from Portadown, Andrew Mitchell of Crusaders and former Glentoran and Swindon forward Jordan Stewart.

Sean Ward and Sammy Clingan are among the first team players being released by the Blues.
