Paul Millar has left his job as Glenavon assistant boss to re-join his old club Glentoran, where he had previously been a player and manager.
He'll be part of the new management team at the Oval, working closely with Head Coach Mick McDermott who replaced Gary Smyth at the weekend.
The Glens have been in negotiations about a major cash investment.
Millar says he's delighted to be involved in the project and wants Glentoran back where it belongs - the biggest and best club in Ireland.
The former Cardiff player had spent seven years on the backroom staff at Glenavon.

The first game under the new regime is Saturday's Danske Bank Premiership clash at Dungannon - both clubs are in the running for the final Europa League play-off place.
