Derry City were beaten 4-0 at Oriel Park

Derry City were dumped out of the FAI cup following a comprehensive 4-0 defeat to Dundalk.

The Lilywhites took only a minute to open the scoring at Oriel Park, via John Mountney.

In the second half, David McMillan made it 2-0 from the penalty spot, before Mountey added his second of the game.

The scoring was rounded off by Michael Duffy who added a fourth in stoppage time.

Candytstripes forward Ronan Curtis started the game after his proposed move from Swedish club Ostersund fell through on Thursday.
