Ulster back row forward Marcell Coetzee once again faces time on the sidelines.

He'll have surgery to assess a left knee injury he picked up against Zebre at the weekend.

Tommy Bowe meanwhile is expected to be out for 8-12 weeks after a left ankle fracture playing for Ireland.

He underwent surgery on Tuesday.

Andrew Trimble is expected to be back in around four weeks' time, having had surgery on a left hand fracture sustained against Treviso.

Conor Joyce (right knee), Jonny Murphy (left shoulder) and Ross Kane (right thumb) sustained injuries in the Ulster A game against Munster A on Sunday afternoon.
