Ballymena United lose heavily to Swifts

Ballymena are nursing their wounds after their 4 - nil Premiership defeat by Dungannon Swifts.

Matthew Shevlin provided the Sky Blues' one crumb of comfort, scoring on the 71st minute.

Ballymena have slipped to fifth in the table on 30 points, 

Coleraine are also on 30 but are ahead on goal difference.

 

Meanwhile, Ballymena United have been drawn to face Coleraine at home in the semi-finals of the Northern Ireland League Cup.

The tie is scheduled for Tuesday the 13th of December at 7:45pm.
