Two teenagers have been arrested following reports a large crowds partying in the street in the Holylands area of Belfast.
It happened in the Agincourt Avenue area in the early hours of this morning.
Police say officers attending were subjected to verbal abuse by some of those in attendance and had a number of bottles thrown at them.
An 18 year old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon and a 19 year old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour.
Both have since been released pending a report to the PPS.
Meanwhile, police also issued 6 cov 4 tickets and 3 cov 2 tickets at a house party in the area.
Meanwhile, a video clip appeared on Snapchat overnight of the crowds.
The time stamp on the video showed it was filmed after 2am.
The video was shared on twitter by Brid Ruddy from the local residents group, who has described the incident as "sickening".

In a separate tweet, Ms Ruddy said, "One of our Holyland residents is part of a small restaurant family. She is looking out on party goers in the street whilst her restaurant remains closed and long term business prospects ebb away. Sickening!"
