The popular BBC one programme Songs of Praise will be in Enniskillen this evening and Dungannon tomorrow.

The show which has been running for 55 years, features christian music with faith at the roots.

During their visit to Northern Ireland, local people will have the opportunity to particpate in music recordings for Songs of Praise which will be later broadcast.

Q Radio's been speaking to Claire McCollum, a presenter on the programme who said they're delighted to be coming to Enniskillen and Dungannon.

"We are filming two programmes, one is in Enniskillen where we will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Enniskillen bomb; on that Poppy Day 30 years ago."

"We'd really love lots and lots of people from all around the area to come along, no matter what church they belong to they're more than welcome to St.Macarten's Cathedral."

"It's going to be a great day of filming, obviously the music will reflect remembrance day and it's a lively insight as to how a television programme is put together."

"Then we move to St.Patrick's Church in Dungannon, again it doesn't matter what church you belong to you're more than welcome to come along.

"We would love to see as many people as possible singing their hearts out in both of the churches."

The first recording will take place in St.Macarten's Cathedral in Enniskillen this evening (27th September) and it will be from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

Meanwhile, the second recording will take place in St.Patrick's Church in Dungannon tomorrow (28th September) and will also run from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

Admission if free for both recordings.
