Tomorrow (Wednesday 9 August) the Health and Social Care Board is holding a pre-consultation engagement regarding 'Re-Shaping Stroke Services'.
The purpose of the pre-consultation is to gather a wide range of views from the public and decide the best ways to enhance stroke care in the Trust area.
Local people as well as organisations, support groups or anyone with a view on stroke care is encouraged to attend and give their views.
Yesterday evening, Fermanagh's Stroke Support Group held their own meeting in preparation.
They want to make sure that local communities "pull together" in order to retain Stroke Services at South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen.
Green Party Councillor, Tanya Jones said the meeting was successful:
Meeting was packed - full of brilliant, dedicated and inspiring people who know how wonderful SWAH's stroke services are. So glad I could go https://t.co/OoJsPY35Ix

Emer Hopkins, the Co-Ordinator of the Regional Stroke Network in Northern Ireland said it's extremely important that people attend the pre-consultation as Stroke can affect anyone:
The engagement will take place tomorrow at 1.30pm, the Tara Centre in Omagh.
