Police are planning to host a meeting in the Omagh area shortly, for all members of the Fermanagh and Omagh community who are deaf or hard of hearing.

It's to ensure the police services are accessible to people with hearing problems and so the PSNI can receive feedback on any difficulties they're faced with.

The following video of local neighbourhood Sergeant, Johnny Conlon alongside sign language translator, Brenda, has been posted on the PSNI Omagh facebook post, to reach out to people to come along:

A spokesperson for the PSNI Omagh also said:

"We will also be inviting everyone who attends the meeting to tour the police station so that you will know what to expect, and we will know what you need, should you ever find yourself in a position where you require our help or advice.

"I’m hopeful that we will also be able to arrange a tour of the courthouse as part of this initiative.

"If you want to know more please contact Omagh PSNI Station and leave your details for the attention of the Neighbourhood Policing Team.

"My sincere thanks to Brenda for helping out with this project and video."
