Police granted more time for questioning in connection with Pat Ward murder

30 year-old Pat Ward's body was discovered in the McCrea park area on Saturday morning

Police have been granted an additional 28 hours to question two people in connection with the murder of Pat Ward in County Tyrone.

The 30 year-old's body was discovered in alleyway at McCrea Park in Clogher, early on Saturday morning. 

A 22 year-old man and 33 year-old woman remain in police custody.

This is the second time the PSNI has extended the questioning process, having applied for extra time on Sunday.
