Detectives in Musgrave are investigating a series of burglary and attempted burglaries in the Dunmurry area which occurred in the early hours of this morning. (Thursday 14th January.)
Detective Sergeant Faulkner said, “We received reports of a burglary and two attempted burglaries in the Beattie Park Central and Milfort Terrace areas this morning.
“It is believed that sometime between 4:45am and 5am this morning that entry was gained to a house in the Milfort Terrace area. Various items including a computer were placed into a black bag.
“It was also reported in the Milfort Terrace area that a shed had been broken into at another property. We also received a report of another attempt to get into a house in the area sometime around 6am however no entry was gained.
“A further incident was reported in the Beattie Park Central area of Dunmurry, where it is believed two men attempted to gain entry to a shed in the garden of a house. Nothing has been reported to have been taken during the incidents.
“I would appeal to anyone who has information in relation to two males dressed in dark clothing with hoods up in the vicinity of Beattie Park Central and Milfort Terrace, anyone seen acting suspiciously and anyone in possession of CCTV or Dash Cam footage that was in the area at the time, to call detectives on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 150 14/01/21, or to submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.pol ice.uk/makeareport/.
