An elderly man has been tied up and assaulted during an aggravated burglary in Kilkeel.
It happened in the Slieveshan Park area just before midnight last night.
Up to three men stormed the house and covered the pensioners head with a pillowcase before ransacking the property.
The victim suffered head and facial injuries and was left tied up in his bedroom when the intruders left.
It's believed a sum of cash was taken.
