The bus firm is up for sale amid financial problems.

It has a workforce of around 1400 in Northern Ireland.

The news came as a Wrightbus spokesperson said discussions with potential investors were at an advanced stage.

The company went on to say it's optomistic about the future and is working hard to get the best possible deal for the workforce.

Meanwhile, Q Radio understands discussions about the Galgorm company are continuing with other interested parties -  including one from China.
