Man in his 40s has been attacked in east Belfast by three men

A man in his 40s has been attacked in east Belfast by three men.

The victim was taken to hospital after the assault in the Paxton Street area of the city last Friday afternoon.

His attackers made off with his wallet which contained a sum of cash.

Constable Ewing said:

“We received a report that sometime between 2pm and 5.30pm, a man aged in his 40s had been attacked in the Paxton Street area of the city by three unknown males.

“The males also stole the victim’s wallet which contained a sum of cash.

“The man was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.''

Police are appealing for information following the assault and robbery that happened last Friday November 26, to contact Police using on 101 quoting reference 751 of 01/12/21.
