LISTEN - First town gift card in Northern Ireland launched in Enniskillen

Enniskillen Business Improvement District (BID) is launching the first ever town Gift Card in Northern Ireland. 

According to their website, Enniskillen BID is an initiative where businesses come together to decide what improvements are needed in their area, above and beyond those governed by statutory provision. 

This in turn, ensures that the direction of improvements will be identified by the businesses themselves led by a Task Team. 

Q Radio's been talking to Enniskillen BID's manager, Noelle McAloon who says they're extremely excited for the launch as they've put a lot of time, effort and hard work into creating it: 

So far the card has over 100 local businesses registered to accept the Gift Card. 

Noelle says this makes it the perfect gift with a huge range of shops to choose from: 

Enniskillen BID have received the cards in stock this week and they will be going on sale Monday 27th November, just in time for Christmas. 

From Monday the Gift Cards can be purchased from 'enniskillengiftcard.co.uk' or they can be bought in the Belmore Court and Motel in Enniskillen. 

In upcoming weeks they may also be available to buy in Rooney's Spar in the Cornagrade area and Dolan's Centre in the town centre. 

The card works as a pre paid VISA Card that uses secure VISA network and can only be used in registered shops and businesses in Enniskillen. 

When it's bought as a Gift, any amount of money can be set for the user; it depends on your own personal preference.
