For some people, January is a time for making New Year resolutions, setting new goals and getting a fresh start for the year ahead.

However, for others the New Year period isn't always as positive and exciting.

Local Counsellor Padraic Devlin says it can often be a very difficult time of the year, leading to stress, anxiety, worry and depression:

Padraic offers counselling sessions through his own company 'Calmer Shores Counselling and Creative Therapy'.

He's based weekly in Dungannon, Magherafelt, Portadown and Antrim, however Padraic offers a service will he travel to clients, local groups, organisations or sports clubs throughout Northern Ireland; in his own words "I go where ever I am needed".

For those who feel that they may be feeling anxious or depressed, not only in January but anytime of the year and need help there's several ways to get in contact with Padraic.
