LISTEN: Charity workout and family fun day in aid of 'Doing it for Dom Foundation'

A fitness workout fundraiser will be running this Sunday in Killyclogher to raise funds for the 'Doing it for Dom Foundation', which has been set up in memory of 26 year old Dominic Earley. 

The Tattyreagh man known as Dom to his friends, tragically died in a car accident in Tempo earlier this year. 


Q Radio's been talking to Conor Taggart, one of Dom's friends from the foundation and Bridin Mullan from Orba Health and Wellbeing who are hosting this weekend's fundraiser. 

Conor says himself and a group of their friends decided to come together to set up the foundation "to keep his memory alive" and that they base it around helping young people and "encouraging them to reach their full potential through education and enterprise."

Bridin, who Dominic used to work with at Orba, says once the foundation was set up, she knew she wanted to help and organise a health and fitness type event to help out, therefore she came up with a charity workout followed by a day of fun for the family. 

There will be a number of activities on the day including craft stalls, irish dancing, face painting and much more linked below from Orba's facebook page:
