Knife held to man's throat in Ballymena aggravated burglary

In Ballymena a man was woken from his sleep by intruders who held a knife to his throat and demanded money.

It happened at a house in Carnduff Drive in the early hours of this morning and police have described it as a "distressing" incident.

Two men had entered the house in the Co Antrim town at around 4.20am.

Two men have been arrested.
