The jury in the high profile rape trial of two Ulster Rugby players will resume deliberations later this morning.

Judge Patricia Smyth finished summing up the case yesterday before sending the jury to reach a decision.

She says she'll only accept a unanimous vote, in which all eleven jurors agree.

The eight men and three women deliberated for more than two hours on Tuesday.

26 year-old Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding, who's 25, deny raping the same woman at a house party in South Belfast in June 2016.

Mr.Jackson denies a further count of sexual assault.

Two other men also deny offences linked to the case, which is due to resume at Belfast Crown Court on Wednesday morning.

Blane McIlroy, 26, from Royal Lodge Road, Belfast denies exposure while Rory Harrison, 25, from Manse Road in Belfast denies perverting the course of justice and withholding information.

The high profile trial, initially scheduled to last five weeks, is now in its ninth week.
