Householders who currently receive a brown bin or separate food waste collection, will receive a sticker from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and it will be placed on the lid of their black or green bins.
It's to remind people that food waste should not be disposed of in these bins.
The new "Food Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland)" places restrictions on food waste disposed of at landfill.
Food waste can no longer be accepted in the black or green non-recyclable bins that were used before.
It must be presented for collection in the brown bin provided or food waste caddy.
Once collected, it's taken to a processing plant where its processed into chemical free compost and renewable energy.
The separate food waste collection service will be extended households that have yet to receive a food waste collection service.
They'll be provided with indoor and external caddies, liners and information about the new service.
