A Holocaust survivor has called for people in Northern Ireland not to let the peace here slip away.
Joan Salter was speaking at a memorial event in Belfast City Hall last night, to mark 74 years since the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp.
Auschwitz was the largest concentration camp established by Nazis in Poland in 1940.
It's estimated that a minimum of 1.3 million people were deported to the camp between 1940 and 1945, while at least 1.1 million of these people were murdered there.
The designated date of Holocaust Memorial Day is 27th January.
Ms Salter also called for politicians to end their two year stalemate at Stormont and to deliver positively for people here.
The 78 year old told Q Radio, she was deeply saddened to hear about the bomb attack last Saturday in Derry/Londonderry:
