Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will host a Funding and Advice Fair for community and voluntary sector groups on Monday 12 March in Enniskillen Library from 5 pm until 8 pm.
The Funding and Advice Fair will provide local groups with the opportunity to drop in any time between 5 pm and 8 pm to meet representatives from a number of funding and advisory agencies including the Big Lottery Fund, Halifax Foundation NI, Sport NI, the Department for Foreign Affairs and the Community Development & Health Network among others.
Speaking about the Funding and Advice Fair, Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Stephen McCann, said the Council was pleased to work in partnership with participating organisations so that local groups are aware of the various supports available to them.
“Our local community and voluntary sector organisations and groups play such a vital role in the physical, social and economic regeneration of the district and the Funding and Advice Fair is an excellent opportunity to access a wealth of information relevant to them.
"I encourage our local community and voluntary representatives to call in to Enniskillen Library anytime between 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday 12 March".
Fermanagh Rural Community Network will also facilitate workshops during the evening.
At 6 pm there will be a workshop to assist groups with undertaking the compulsory registration to The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland or completing the annual report while at 7 pm, there will be a workshop on good record keeping practices for committees.
Booking to attend any of the workshops is not required.
