Fermanagh and Omagh District Council's organising an inclusive walk to encourage members of the public to get out and active as part of it's Autumn activity programme.

It's dedicated to those with disabilities and complex needs and is wheelchair accessible.

However, wheelchair users will require assistance along various lengths of the route.

The walk will take place on Monday 15th October at the Lough Erne in Enniskillen at 10am.

Speaking about the forthcoming inclusive walking event, Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Howard Thornton, said;

"It is important that we all ensure that we take care of our physical and mental welI-being and this walk offers an ideal opportunity to get out and get active this autumn in the beautiful surroundings of the Lough Erne Resort.

"I would encourage members of the public to participate in this walk and embrace the great outdoors. The walk will also provide an opportunity to socialise with other walkers."

Places on the inclusive walk are limited with places allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Registration for places is available from 9am on Monday 10 September 2018.
