Police in the Fermanagh and Omagh district have launched their policing plan for the upcoming 2017/2018 financial year.
This years local policing plan is the culmination of extensive consultations and has identified nine core themes that the community want the police service to concentrate on.
District Commander Superintendent Jane Humphries said:
"This plan commits local police to delivering against a number of core principles. Based around the core themes of Communication and Engagement, Protection of People and Communities and Reduction in Offending.
"Fermanagh and Omagh Police will be focusing on improving trust and confidence in Policing by supporting our victims and better understanding the impact that policing decision can have by engaging with our community."
"We will reduce harm caused by crime and anti-social behaviour by reducing the number of repeat victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, supporting victims of domestic abuse, protecting the vulnerable and raising awareness of ways to deter and detect rural and agricultural crime.
"We will keep people safe on our roads by reducing the number of people killed or serious injured and we will tackle serious and organised crime by reducing the harm cause by drugs."
Fermanagh and Omagh is one of the safest places to live in Northern Ireland and has one of the lowest crime rates across the 11 Districts.

“Fermanagh and Omagh PCSP is pleased to work alongside the PSNI in the delivery of the Plan reflecting the strong emphasis on Policing with the community.
I would like to thank Chief Inspector Clive Beatty for consulting with the PCSP in the development of plan consolidating the partnership between the PCSP and the PSNI.”
