Derry Londonderry man admits murdering Paul McCauley

A man from Derry Londonderry has admitted murdering Paul McCauley.

The 29-year-old died nine years after he was attacked at a barbecue in the Waterside area of the city.

Piper John McClements used to be known as Daryl Proctor.

The 28-year-old from the Fountain Estate pleaded guilty on the first day of his trial in Belfast.

Tomorrow, another man is due to go on trial charged with murder.
