The Western Trust has announced that the new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex will have both majority free parking and a bus service.
There will be 863 car parking spaces the the new site, across 8 car parks.
705 of the spaces will be free for all on site users, while 159 will be paid for.
The paid spaces will be 80 pence per hour.
The Trust has also agreed to a contract with Translink, that allows a daily bus service to run from the Omagh bus station to the hospital site.
Reported in the Ulster Herald, the Director of Performance Management and Service Improvement, Teresa Molly said that she was pleased to announce the new parking and transport arrangements set up.
"We have listened to the views and expectations of patients, staff and other site users and are providing 705 free parking spaces on site, a significant increase on whats currently available at the Tyrone and County Hospital and Omagh Health Centre."
She went on to explain that the Western Trust had to ensure that an alternative transport option was set in place for its patients and site users.
The new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex will open in June, this year.
