Confidential hotline set up in Mauritius for residents to pass on information about Michaela murder

A confidential phone line has been set up in Mauritius for people to pass on any information they may have about the murder of Michaela McAreavey.

Her widower John is on the Indian Ocean island to launch a fresh appeal for information about her murder.

The 27-year-old daughter of Tyrone manager Mickey Harte, was killed while on honeymoon in January 2011.

No one has ever been convicted of her murder.

She was found dead in a bath in her hotel.

John says he wants justice for her murder.
