PSNI in Fermanagh and Omagh have said they've been busy "over the last 2 to 3 weeks" carrying out searches across the district, lead by information provided by the public.

A Police spokesperson said:

"20 premises in Omagh, Enniskillen, Lisnaskea, Maguiresbridge, Newtownbutler, Kinawley and Belleek were searched based on information you folks gave us regarding drugs, counterfeit goods and proceeds of crime.

"From these searches there have been numerous arrests and detections ranging from abstracting electricity, possession and supply of various controlled drugs including suspected cocaine, cannabis resin, herbal cannabis, cultivating cannabis as well as prescription drugs!

"When we weren't out searching homes, we also have reported people for possession of class B drugs, seized a vehicle for no insurance and made 2 arrests for non payment of money warrants.

"Our neighbourhood team also managed to squeeze in laser speed checks around West Fermanagh, trailer marking at Enniskillen mart and beat patrols in areas you have asked for.

"They also located a vital piece of evidence in the form of a glove that may identify a burglar.

"All of these searches we do are a result of information which you folks provide us with.
