Ulster Community Investment Trust (or, UCIT) want to hear from community-based projects; Trust currently offer small loans to groups for building work and repairs.

UCIT are offering small loans as part of a £350,000 scheme open to a variety of community-based projects.

It's designed to provide small loans which cannot currently be raised from traditional sources, such as high-street banks and other means.

The scheme is open to sports clubs, charities and community groups across Northern Ireland.

UCIT has previously assisted the Clonoe Rural Development Agency as well as Cleenish Community Association in the past. In one instance, assisting in the purchase of land for use in sport and recreation; and in the case of the latter, help in purchasing solar panels for the group.
