Around £200 has been stolen from a church in Carrickfergus.
It happened at the Joymount Presbyterian Church after the Sunday service on 25th November, sometime between 1pm and 8pm.
Police say a large glass bottle containing loose change from collections, which was sitting in the main front hall was emptied.
It contained approximately £150 for "good causes".
Meanwhile, a cash box containing £50 was also taken, which was meant for the youth club outing fund.
A spokesperson for the PSNI says, "Burglary in itself is a pretty despicable act as it is a major violation of someones home.
"But to burgle a church is quite simply low. As i said it means a lot to some people and to have money taken that was set aside to help others is despicable."
