Every year the Omagh and Fermanagh branch of the Chernobyl Children's Appeal host children from Belarus and Ukraine over the Summer.
Most of these children are from very poor homes and meager living conditions.
Earlier this year, Q Radio spoke to Eveline Smith, one of the group leaders at the Omagh and Fermanagh Chernobyl Children's Appeal.
At that stage they were short of host families and were appealing for local families:
However now almost three months on, the group managed to bring over 20 children to Fermanagh and Omagh where they've been staying for the past 3 weeks.
Jane Weir from Garrison hosted two young girls from Belarus.
She got in contact with Q Radio to let us know she first heard about becoming a host through Eveline's interview on the Q Cafe and Q radio news.
Throughout their time, the children from Ukraine and Belarus have been doing a range of activities around Fermanagh and Tyrone; things they'd never get to do back home:
Jane says both her and her daughter Mia have enjoyed the experience and are extremely grateful:
She's also encouraging other families locally to consider becoming a host in the future, purely because of the ways it benefits the children.
