Best feet forward for Cormac Run in Eglish

The Cormac Run is to take place in Eglish later this month.

It’s staged in memory of the late GAA player Cormac McAnallen.

Cormac from Brantry, died of a heart condition in 2004.

A record turnout is expected at the event on April 22nd.

The money will be used to purchase defibrillators for clubs and community groups.

The annual event is now in its seventh year.

A new route, which starts close to Pairc Cormac, was introduced in 2016.

Last year over 600 took part.

The event comprises of a 10k and 5k which are both chipped and timed officially.

The race begins at noon with registration available on the day.
