Barry's Amusement's has confirmed it will open for the 2020 summer season.

The Portrush attraction has entertained children in Northern Ireland for more than 90 years, but was put up for sale last year.

The Trufelli family who own the amusements say it is still for sale as a going concern, but will open this season.

"The business remains for sale as a going concern and, while there has been strong interest, this process takes time" they said in a statement.

"We would like to thank our employees and our customers for their continued patience and messages of goodwill over recent months.

"We look forward to welcoming you all to Barry’s this forthcoming season."
