3 people injured and a man arrested after crash in Omagh

Police are appealing for information regarding a two vehicle collision on the Tattyreagh Road, Omagh. 

Constable Holmes stated "It was reported that between the hours of 2.00am and 2.30am on Sunday 30th April, a black Mercedes 320 Elegance and silver Toyota Picnic were involved in the road traffic collision on the Tattyreagh Road, Omagh."

"As a result of the collision three people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening and a 24 year old male was arrested following the collision. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries."

The police are also appealing to anyone that may have witnessed the collision to contact the police: "In particular, we are appealing for information regarding a black Mercedes 320 Elegance, thought to have been in Fintona which was travelling back to Omagh along the Tattyreagh Road shortly before the collision. 

"Police would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen a male wearing a blue checked shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes with dark hair walking in to Omagh who may have been covered in mud."

Anyone with information can contact the Omagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 191 of the 30/04/17. 

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
