Leaders Linfield crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Ballymena in the Danske Bank Premiership last night.

Conor Keeley grabbed a dramatic stoppage time winner, his second goal of the game, from a Tony Kane corner.

Blues forward Joel Cooper was sent off for a late lunge on home striker Shay McCartan.

It was Linfield's 3000th league game and the defeat came against a team managed by their former boss, David Jeffrey.

Second-placed Coleraine drew 1-1 away to Glenavon and are now seven points behind the Blues with two games in hand. Stephen Lowry claimed the equaliser at Mourneview.

Glentoran moved up to third with a 2-1 win at Warrenpoint. The Glens came from behind - Conor McMenamin levelling the scores with a penalty before Jay Donnelly won it with a great header.

Carrick beat visiting Portadown 5-3 and Dean Shiels got his first points as Dungannon manager - a 2-1 victory against Crusaders at Stangmore Park.

The winner was scored by ex-Northern Ireland and Crues striker Rory Patterson - a stunning free-kick.
