Elliott Morris - 699 not out.

Q Radio Sport

There are five fixtures in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Glentoran goalkeeper Elliott Morris is set to make his 700th appearance for the club against Glenavon at Mourneview Park.

Second faces fourth in this one.

And after the Lurgan Blues' shock mid-week exit from the League Cup, Elliott expects them to return to their Premiership form...

The 37-year-old ex-West Brom keeper has spoken with Q Radio, giving a fascinating insight into his 16-year career at the Oval - the highs and lows, why he stayed during the financial crisis and how he even turned down an attractive coaching job in England because he'd just had an under-par, injury-hit season and didn't want it to be the lasting memory of Glens' fans. Not bad for a man who grew up in a big Crusaders family a goal kick from Seaview!

Now he wants to beat the all-time record of almost 800 Glens' appearances, held by his former Oval teammate, Ards boss, Colin Nixon - but he would much prefer another trophy. He's also done some modelling in his time and for many he is the model professional. This is Elliott Morris...

In the other Saturday games, leaders Linfield host Ards, Dungannon go to Institute, Cliftonville visit Newry and Warrenpoint welcome Ballymena to the Q Radio Arena.

They all kick-off at 3pm.

The final fixture is on Monday night when the top two from last season clash at Seaview - champions Crusaders against Coleraine.
