The two sides play on Saturday for a place in the quarter finals of the Junior Cup
It may have been a couple of years since Coleraine and Limavady last played each other, however Saturday's atmosphere is set to be no less electric. The two sides face off after being drawn together in the Junior Cup.
After an unbeaten start, Coleraine coach Richard Boyd is pleased with his sides early season promise. However he sees no easy task from a decent Limavady side.
"We expect them to be very strong this weekend" said Richard "they're very strong in the backline and in the pack" Richard Boyd is working with more depth this season than last and sees a genuine chance to make waves in the Junior cup
"Last year we didn't really have a big enough squad to compete on all fronts" said Richard "but winning breeds winning, we can use the Junior Cup as a platform, to give players a chance to express themselves." Richard is also expecting the crowd to be a factor, with plenty of atmosphere likely to descend on Sandel Park

Limavady coach Mark Nicholl reiterated those expectations. "People know each other so well, on and off the pitch" said Mark "and that adds to the atmosphere, that's what rugby's all about, I think it's lost a bit of that."
Mark also expects Coileraine to be a tough affair, praising how solid a side the Bannsiders are "Coleraine have strengthened really well this year" said Mark "They're very strong all round there's not just one individual, they're a good all round team."
The game is at Coleraine Rugby Club on Saturday 1st October
