Jordan Brown is set to face Ronnie O'Sullivan in the final of the Welsh Open at Celtic Manor in Newport on Sunday.
The Antrim man qualified for his first ranking tournament decider by beating Stephen Maguire 6-1.
33-year-old Jordan had never been beyond the quarter-finals.
The world number 81 said: "All the hard work and dedication is finally paying off.
"Three years ago I was working in a petrol station serving customers getting up at half five, half six every morning.
"It's crazy to think since then the journey that I've had and being in a ranking tournament final is just incredible."
