An 18-year-old woman was attacked and beaten by three men armed with what police believe was a metal pole in north Belfast last night.
It happened in Manor Street shortly after 8pm and the teenager was dragged from a property, kicked and hit on the head with a weapon before being beaten with a pole.
She suffered a broken ankle.
Three men aged 19, 23 and 24 have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including grievous bodily harm with intent.
The PSNI has described it as a "vicious beating".
